A family that lost a newborn at the Sinomed private clinic in Tashkent has appealed to the prosecutor's office, asking to investigate the doctor's actions for potential negligence. Lawyer Pavel Kuksenko shared the details of the incident.

According to him, an ultrasound on September 26 revealed signs of fetal hypoxia, low amniotic fluid, and cloudy amniotic fluid. However, as the lawyer claims, the woman was not hospitalized. The surgery was postponed to September 28. The doctor explained this by an upcoming wedding.

The woman had been under this specialist's care for a long time and consulted with her regularly. Kuksenko asserts that the pain started two weeks before the expected delivery date, and the doctor was aware of it. Neither the woman nor her sister had given birth before, so the family decided to trust a familiar specialist.

On September 28, at 12:30 p.m., a boy was born. According to the lawyer's publication, the child's condition was assessed as one point on the Apgar scale. The newborn died 45 minutes later.

The family filed an application with the district prosecutor's office at the clinic's location. Kuksenko reported that the review period is coming to an end, but the family has not yet received information about its results. The lawyer also believes that the possible inaction of the department head deserves attention. At the time of publication, there was no official comment from the clinic.
