Date and venue of Uzbekistan national team's match against Iran announced

The date and location of the Uzbekistan national team's friendly match with Iran have been determined.

As previously reported, the Uzbekistan national team will play friendlies with Iran and South Korea during the FIFA Days in September-October. According to the Uzbekistan Football Association, the match with Iran will be held on September 24 at the Istiklol Stadium in Fergana.

It was also previously announced that the team led by Fabio Cannavaro will play an away match against South Korea on October 6.

After participating in the World Cup, the Uzbekistan national team is now preparing for the 2027 Asian Cup. The Asian Cup will be held in Saudi Arabia from January 7 to February 5.

Fabio Cannavaro's men are in Group B of the tournament and will face Bahrain, North Korea and Jordan to advance.

It has also been reported that the White Wolves will play Lionel Messi's Argentina after their match against South Korea.
