Curator of online drug store caught with nearly 10 kilos of drugs in Tashkent

The curator of an online drug store in Tashkent was detained with almost 10 kilograms of drugs. The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported this.

According to the report, this person, born in Tashkent in 1989, worked as an administrator and curator in an online drug store. He was previously convicted under Articles 164 (robbery) and 278 (organization and holding of gambling and other risky games) of the Criminal Code.

During an operational operation conducted in cooperation with the Rapid Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, its territorial divisions and the State Security Service, during a search of his car and residence, it was found that he was in possession of synthetic drugs of hashish and methamphetamine.

As a result of the operational operations, 9 kilograms and 330 grams of hashish, equivalent to 64,817 doses, and 545 grams of synthetic drugs of methamphetamine were seized.

A criminal case has been initiated against the criminal group in this case under Part 5 of Article 273 of the Criminal Code. The Criminal Code stipulates a penalty of up to 20 years in prison for such criminal acts.
