A criminal case has been initiated against a person who committed indecent and lewd acts against an 8-year-old girl in the Qorakol district of Bukhara region, the National Social Protection Agency reports.
The incident occurred on October 23. Citizen Sh. R. was found to have committed indecent and lewd acts against an 8-year-old girl.
Regarding the situation, the district prosecutor's office initiated a criminal case under Article 129, Part 3 of the Criminal Code (Committing indecent and lewd acts against a person under sixteen years of age).
Investigative actions are currently being conducted by the district prosecutor's office, and the process has been taken under prosecutorial supervision.
The "Inson" social services center in the district examined the condition of the affected girl, and measures are being taken to provide her with the necessary social and psychological assistance, the agency's report says.
