Construction of civil engineering objects increased by 31.6 percent

In January–August 2026, construction work worth 55.5 trillion soums was completed in the construction of civil engineering objects in Uzbekistan. This was reported by the National Statistics Committee.

This figure increased by 31.6 percent compared to the same period in 2025.

The highest volume of construction of civil engineering objects was recorded in Samarkand region. In this region, construction work worth 7.9 trillion soums was carried out. Construction work worth 6.5 trillion soums was completed in Tashkent region, 3.9 trillion soums in Bukhara region, and 3.7 trillion soums in Fergana region.

Work worth 2.8 trillion soums was completed in Khorezm region, 2.7 trillion soums in Kashkadarya region, and 2.5 trillion soums in Andijan region. The volume of construction of civil engineering objects amounted to 2.4 trillion soums each in Navoiy and Surxondaryo regions, and 2.2 trillion soums in the Republic of Karakalpakstan.

Construction work worth 2 trillion soums was carried out in Namangan region, 1.8 trillion soums in Syrdarya region, and 1.6 trillion soums in Jizzakh region. In the city of Tashkent, construction work worth 1.3 trillion soums was completed in this direction.
