Click at the heart of the new Silk Road: How was the Silk Road Finance & Technology Forum 2026?
Click participated as a platinum sponsor at the first-ever Silk Road Finance & Technology Forum in Tashkent on August 24-25. This international conference, organized in cooperation with the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN), brought together representatives of central banks, financial institutions, fintech companies, investors, technology companies and regulators to discuss the future development of the Central Asian financial system. The official program of the forum discussed topics such as Open Banking, cross-border payments, digital assets and stablecoins, artificial intelligence, digital identification, financial security, investments, and new models of cooperation between the financial and technology sectors.
The name of the forum clearly expresses its main goal. The modern Silk Road is no longer just about trade routes, but also about the interconnection of markets, financial infrastructure, technologies, capital and data. Therefore, the discussions went much further than the usual fintech framework and focused on how to build a financial system where digital services are more popular, infrastructure is more interconnected, and new technologies are more secure and beneficial for businesses and people.
For Click, participating in such a forum allowed the company to present itself not only as a financial technology company, but also as an active participant in a broader dialogue about the future of the market. The forum was attended by Click CEO Ulugbek Rustamov and other representatives of the company's team, who participated in the business program, met with representatives of the international fintech community and discussed issues that directly affect the development of financial technologies in the region.
One of the most notable parts of Click's participation was the company's Click Olami stand. Among the large-scale exhibition exposition, it literally stood out as a living space: plants surrounded the area, and green compositions hanging from above created a separate green area inside the stand.
This concept was a continuation of Click's Green Heritage environmental project. However, greenery was not just decoration here. The stand also offered an interactive experience based on artificial intelligence (AI): forum participants could create their own digital avatars using AI, and Click planted a tree on behalf of each participant as part of Green Heritage.
