Chinese investors are expanding their presence in the Fergana region.

The Fergana region has reached an agreement with Chinese investors to accelerate cooperation and attract new participants for projects in key sectors such as automotive component manufacturing, information technology, and agriculture, according to the Fergana regional administration.

On August 11, Fergana regional governor Khairullo Bozorov met with a delegation of Chinese investors led by Zhang Zhonghua. During the meeting, the parties discussed new investment projects planned for the region with the participation of Chinese partners.

Zhang Zhonghua, advisor to the Fergana regional governor on attracting Chinese investment, reported that active efforts are underway to attract new Chinese business representatives interested in launching projects in the Fergana region.

Priority areas include automotive component manufacturing, information technology, and agriculture. Chinese investors have expressed their willingness to implement projects in these sectors. Over the course of two days, delegation representatives visited the Kuva district, where they learned about its investment potential, available opportunities, and the conditions created for project implementation. Following the visit, specific plans are being developed in the district to launch new investment projects with Chinese partners.

Furthermore, information on projects planned for implementation in the Fergana district was presented at the meeting.

Khairullo Bozorov confirmed the regional administration's readiness to support Chinese investors' initiatives. He stated that investors will be provided with the necessary assistance and practical support during project implementation.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to accelerate investment cooperation between the Fergana region and Chinese partners, attract new investors, and continue joint work on promising projects.
