Cameras monitoring traffic in dedicated "A" bus lanes have been installed on a 6-kilometer section of Farg'ona Yoli Street in Tashkent. The cameras cover both directions of the street.

According to the report, this measure is aimed at prioritizing public transport and ensuring compliance with the rules for using dedicated lanes.

Surveillance cameras are also being gradually activated in bus lanes on other streets of the capital. At the same time, new BRT lanes are being constructed, expanding the network of dedicated lanes for public transport.

The report emphasizes that blocking a bus lane leads to delays for dozens of passengers. A single bus can carry more than 50 passengers at a time. If a car obstructs its movement, passengers heading to work, school, or other destinations lose time.

Dedicated lanes are designed to ensure that buses travel without unnecessary delays and adhere to their schedules.

The report reminds that from 06:00 to 23:00, vehicles that do not have the right to travel in "A" lanes are prohibited from driving in these lanes.

Drivers are asked to observe the requirements of road signs and markings, and not to occupy bus lanes during prohibited hours.
