Routes of five bus lines temporarily changed in Tashkent

Due to the construction of a dedicated bus lane (BRT) at the intersection of Shahrisabz and Istiqbol streets in Tashkent, the routes of five bus lines have been temporarily changed. This was reported by the Main Department of Transport and Road Transport Infrastructure Development of Tashkent City.

It is reported that turning left at the intersection of Shahrisabz and Istiqbol streets has been temporarily restricted. For this reason, buses No. 2, 26, 37, 68, and 93 running from the city center are being redirected in a one-way manner via Shahrisabz, Makhtumkuli, and S. Azimov streets.

It is noted that increased traffic flow and congestion may occur in the area. Consequently, interval times between buses may increase, and there is also a possibility of additional changes to the routes.

Passengers have been asked to plan their trips in advance.
