Business registration in Uzbekistan will be conducted from October 15 to November 30
Business registration in Uzbekistan will be carried out from October 15 to November 30, 2026. This was announced by the Ministry of Justice.
By the President's decree of September 10, the national strategy "Development of Statistics — 2030" was approved, and measures for the effective use of census data were determined.
According to the decree, the business registration will be conducted on the territory of Uzbekistan as of October 1, 2026.
Also, by the end of 2027, using the results of the population and agricultural censuses, a statistical register of the population will be formed in the National Statistical Committee. Based on it, the practice of calculating and publishing the population size will be introduced.
The population databases of state bodies will be mutually coordinated and integrated into the statistical register of the population for continuous data updates.
The register will be put into practice after being examined by the "Cybersecurity Center" for compliance with cybersecurity requirements and obtaining the relevant conclusion. The security of the information system will be constantly monitored.
Only authorized employees can use the statistical register of the population solely for statistical purposes to generate aggregate statistical data.
The use of individual data in the register by state bodies, other legal entities, and individuals is prohibited.
In addition, a statistical register of agriculture will be formed, and the data in it will be constantly updated.
The decree also defined the priority directions of the national strategy "Development of Statistics — 2030" for 2026–2030.
Among them are coordinating the activities of official statistics producers based on a unified approach, adapting statistical methodologies to international standards, digital transformation, reducing the reporting burden, and modernizing the data infrastructure.
From January 1, 2027, micro-firms and small enterprises can be selected only once a year for sample surveys conducted quarterly by statistical bodies.
