Business activity in Uzbekistan's regions increased in July – CERR
Comprehensive monitoring of key business activity indicators in Uzbekistan's regions shows growth across all key metrics.

In July of this year, business activity in the regions of Uzbekistan demonstrated a noticeable increase, according to monitoring data from the Center for Economic Research and Reforms (CERR), based on operational information from the Tax and Customs Committees, the Central Bank, and the Republican Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange.
At the end of July, tax revenues showed a steady positive trend, increasing by 43.8% compared to the same period last year. The most significant growth was recorded in the Tashkent, Syrdarya, Navoi, Samarkand, and Jizzakh regions, as well as in Tashkent, where the average growth rate was approximately 29%.
Customs payments increased by 18.1%. The leading growth regions were Namangan (56.4%), Fergana (37.8%), Navoi (37.6%), and Tashkent (27%), as well as the Republic of Karakalpakstan (63.6%).
During the reporting period, exports of goods increased by 30.4%. The most significant growth in export deliveries was observed in the Tashkent (51.2%) and Bukhara (49.6%) regions. In the Navoi, Surkhandarya, and Andijan regions, growth averaged approximately 40%.
At the same time, lending growth was observed: the volume of loans issued by commercial banks during the reporting period increased by 4.7%. The largest increase was recorded in the Samarkand region (+48.3%). In the Andijan, Bukhara, Khorezm, and Fergana regions, lending growth rates increased by an average of 27%.
The volume of transactions on the Uzbek Republican Commodity Exchange increased by 24.3%. The largest increases in exchange activity were observed in the Surkhandarya (81.9%) and Bukhara (64.8%) regions. Increased growth was also observed in the Navoi, Syrdarya, Andijan and Khorezm regions, where the average growth was 31%.
