The Museum of Bukhara History is being built

The construction of a history museum has begun in the modern center of "Bukhara City".

Special attention is being paid to the construction of the Museum of Bukhara History, which is being erected on lot 59. This museum, planned to operate as a branch of the Bukhara State Museum-Reserve, is designed to house nearly 125,000 exhibits representing the history, nature, and fine arts of Bukhara.

A land area of 0.93 hectares has been allocated for the museum. The total construction area of the facility is 6.2 thousand square meters. The building will feature exhibition halls, a conference hall, fund and storage rooms, offices, and waiting areas for visitors.

Tasks have been set to accelerate and qualitatively organize the construction and installation works at the sites.

"The new museum will not only preserve and display the rich historical and cultural heritage of Bukhara in modern conditions, but will also provide even wider opportunities for local and foreign tourists," said Hayot Davlatov.
