The President of Uzbekistan congratulated the country's schoolchildren on the start of the new academic year. This year, nearly 800,000 boys and girls will attend school for the first time. The head of state urged them to cherish every moment, thoroughly master knowledge and skills, be constantly searching, and love their homeland with all their hearts.

Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent congratulations on Knowledge Day to the country's schoolchildren, their parents, teachers, and mentors. The school year begins on September 2.
This year, nearly 800,000 boys and girls will enter school for the first time. The head of state called them "our wonderful future, our golden resource."
He expressed hope that the new academic year would be "a year of enlightenment" throughout the country's educational system, including schools, lyceums, technical schools, and universities.
The President called the sacred task of educating young people—the "sprouts of the Third Renaissance"—"so that, like a tree with strong roots, they become a reliable support for our progress."
Shavkat Mirziyoyev assured that the government "will continue to prioritize the development of education and upbringing, which serves as a solid foundation for achieving such great goals."
"We will create all the conditions to ensure that young men and women who enter adult life, along with profound knowledge and at least one modern profession, possess at least one modern profession after graduating from school. To this end, we will establish 'professional towns' in the regions, implement best practices, and attract leading specialists," he noted.
"The key that opens the doors to a happy and prosperous life, helps you find answers to complex questions, and overcome the trials and difficulties you will encounter along the way is knowledge, and only knowledge," the country's leader emphasized.
"Treasure every minute of your wonderful youth, diligently master new knowledge, innovations, professions, and crafts, thoroughly study our native language, our rich history and culture, as well as world history and foreign languages. Don't rest in this, be constantly searching. With all your soul, with all your heart, love this sacred land, inherited from your ancestors, and always be devoted to your homeland and people!" he wished.
