"Barcelona" earned record revenue last season

Catalan club "Barcelona" earned 1.06 billion euros in revenue at the end of the 2025/26 season. This is considered the highest figure in the club's history.

For comparison, in the 2024/25 season, the team's revenue amounted to 994 million euros. Although the management planned to earn 1.075 billion euros at the end of last season, in practice, slightly less than the target was collected. It should also be noted that despite the revenue of over 1 billion euros, after deducting all expenses, "Barcelona" ended the season with a net profit of only 200 thousand euros.

At the same time, "Barcelona's" debt obligations are also increasing. The club's net debt, which was 469 million euros in June 2025, has now reached 607 million euros.

How were the revenue sources distributed?

Stadium and infrastructure: Following the team's return to the renovated "Camp Nou" stadium, ticket sales, VIP packages, and museum revenues increased significantly, amounting to 225 million euros (this figure was 175 million in the previous season).

Sponsorship agreements: A record was also set in this direction — 265 million euros (5 million more compared to last season).

Commercial and licensing: 208 million euros were earned from the sale of club merchandise and goods (+40 million).

TV broadcasts: Due to the team's early exit from the Champions League, revenue from TV rights decreased from 250 million to 246 million euros.

Transfers: 43 million euros entered the club's treasury from the sale of players.

The club's expected revenue for the 2026/27 season is set at 1.195 billion euros. Notably, along with revenues, the team's wage bill is also expected to increase sharply. The club's total salary amount is planned to increase from 571 million to 636 million euros, and the salaries of the first-team players directly from 355 million to 477 million euros.
