Barcelona are considering Martinez as one of the main candidates if Julian Alvarez's transfer from Atletico Madrid fails. The Catalans are reportedly ready to start negotiations with Inter. Martinez has been linked with Barcelona on several occasions, but the team's current need for a central striker makes this transfer more likely.
