Arbeloa is not slowing down: Fulham now wants to sign Barcelona player

English club Fulham may transfer another player from the Spanish La Liga. According to Sport.es, the London team is interested in Barcelona defender Hector Fort.

According to the source, the new head coach of Fulham Alvaro Arbeloa is making large-scale changes in the team and plans to pay special attention to young Spanish talents.

Earlier, Fulham officially announced the transfers of representatives of Real Madrid - striker Gonzalo Garcia and midfielder Cesar Palacios. Now the former Real Madrid coach also wants to attract players from the Barcelona academy to the team. Arbeloa is looking for a right-back and has asked the club to study the financial terms of Fort's transfer to the English Premier League.

Barcelona are also pursuing a strategy of maximizing financial gains from young players who are unable to find a place in the first team and continue their development in the academy. Therefore, Hector Fort is expected to be sold for around 10 million euros.
