According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Lieutenant Colonel Bakhtiyor Rakhimjonovich Inokov has been appointed as the new head of the Surkhandarya regional internal affairs department.
He was tasked with increasing the effectiveness of the fight against crime and ensuring security in each neighborhood.
The new leader must also establish close cooperation with the population, study the problems raised in citizens' appeals and find ways to solve them. Internal affairs bodies were instructed to pay special attention to strengthening the trust of the population.
The heads of district and city internal affairs departments were tasked with targeted elimination of factors leading to crime and increasing the efficiency of work in each neighborhood.
Bakhtiyor Inokov replaced Timur Ismailov in this position.
It should be recalled that Timur Ismailov was previously appointed First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan - Head of the Department of Public Security.
