Bakhtiyor Inokov was appointed head of the Surkhandarya regional Internal Affairs Department.

In accordance with the relevant order of the Minister of Internal Affairs, Lieutenant Colonel Bakhtiyor Inokov was appointed head of the Surkhandarya regional Internal Affairs Department.

This appointment was announced at an extraordinary session of the Surkhandarya regional Council of People's Deputies. Inokov graduated from the master's degree program at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

During the session, the criminal situation in the region and issues of ensuring public safety were also discussed. According to data, during the reporting period, no crimes were recorded in 528 of the 723 makhallas in the region, or 73 percent.

At the same time, the fact that 28 makhallas remain in the "red" category was criticized. The new head was tasked with increasing the effectiveness of the fight against crime, ensuring security in neighborhoods, establishing close communication with the population, and strengthening citizens' trust in the internal affairs bodies.

We would like to remind you that on August 21, Timur Ismailov, who served as the head of the Surkhandarya Internal Affairs Department, was appointed First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs - Head of the Department of Public Security.
