Syrdarya regional police chief reportedly dismissed

A message has been circulating on social media that Colonel Farrukh Haydarov, the head of the Syrdarya regional Department of Internal Affairs, has been dismissed. Two independent sources of Kun.uz confirmed this information.

There are reports that the head of the Syrdarya regional Internal Affairs Department has been dismissed.

According to one of the sources, Haydarov's dismissal is due to the fact that he seriously injured a subordinate.

Kun.uz sent a request to the press secretary of the Minister of Internal Affairs, Shohrukh Giyasov, on this issue. Giyasov neither confirmed nor denied this information.

The press secretary of the Prosecutor General, Hayot Shamsutdinov, did not respond to Kun.uz's request regarding the information about the injury to the internal affairs officer.

Farrukh Ubaydullayevich Haydarov was appointed head of the Syrdarya regional Internal Affairs Department in March 2025, and later received the rank of colonel.

He was born in Kazakhstan in 1983 and graduated from the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in 2004. During his career, he also served as the head of the Internal Affairs Directorate in the Mirzo Ulugbek and Yakkasaroy districts of Tashkent.
