"Azerbaijan" Park to be Built in New Tashkent

Azerbaijan Park to be built in New Tashkent
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev launched the construction of the Azerbaijan Park in New Tashkent. The Presidential Press Service reported this on August 23.
According to the report, 4 hectares of land have been allocated for the park in New Tashkent. A modern public space will be created here, reflecting the rich culture, centuries-old history and national traditions of Azerbaijan. The park will become a place that demonstrates the cultural closeness and friendship of the two fraternal peoples.
It is worth noting that such a good initiative has a two-fold nature. As part of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev's state visit to Azerbaijan, the foundation stone of the Uzbekistan Park was solemnly laid in the "White City" area of Baku. The complex, which will be built on an area of 4.5 hectares, will uniquely reflect the rich culture and traditions of Uzbekistan, as well as the national architectural school. It is planned to create architectural symbols of historical monuments of our country, green areas and recreation areas, the report says.
It was noted that the "Azerbaijan" parks in Tashkent and "Uzbekistan" parks in Baku will become another bright symbol of the centuries-old friendship, mutual respect and spiritual closeness of the two peoples.
The heads of state launched the project by placing a symbolic capsule in the territory of the future park.
Earlier, the President of Azerbaijan was introduced to the New Tashkent project. Then the presidents opened the campus of the Nizami Ganjavi Pedagogical University built in this area.
