Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan are strengthening business ties.
The state visit of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to Uzbekistan and the subsequent signing of the Eternal Friendship Treaty marked a new era in relations between the two countries. Economic cooperation is also reaching a new level, as the parties aim to increase trade volumes and implement joint initiatives.
For the business communities, this means expanded opportunities for direct interaction. One proven format for such cooperation is the participation of Azerbaijani companies in Iteca Exhibitions international exhibitions in Uzbekistan.
In recent years, Azerbaijani companies have regularly participated in industry projects such as UzBuild, UzFood, TIHE, Uzbekistan Energy Week, Aquatherm Tashkent, MiningMetals Uzbekistan, TransLogistica Uzbekistan, and others. These include the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR), AZERTEXNOLAYN, Ady Express, Azlogista, Fin Plast, Kartas/Mr. Fix, Orizon Labs, Almet Baku, and many others.
In 2026, this cooperation will continue, bringing together companies from both countries on professional platforms and creating new prospects for business contacts and joint projects.
