Autumn Begins in Uzbekistan: Weather Forecast for September 1
The first day of autumn in Uzbekistan is expected to be mostly dry. According to Uzhydromet, light, partly cloudy skies with no precipitation are forecast for most regions. Temperatures in some areas could reach 40°C, with wind gusts up to 22 m/s.
In the Tashkent, Jizzakh, Samarkand, and Syrdarya regions, nighttime temperatures will reach 15–20°C, and daytime temperatures will reach 28–33°C.
In the Bukhara and Navoi regions, nighttime temperatures will be 15–20°C, and daytime temperatures will reach 28–33°C.
In the Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions, temperatures will be significantly hotter: 16–21°C at night, and 35–40°C during the day.
Temperatures are expected to drop in Karakalpakstan and the Khorezm region, with overnight lows of 13–18°C and daytime highs of 25–30°C.
In the Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana regions, overnight highs of 15–20°C and daytime highs of 28–33°C are forecast.
In mountainous areas, overnight temperatures will be 10–15°C and daytime highs of 20–25°C.
In some regions, wind speeds are expected to increase to 13–18 m/s, with possible gusts of 20–22 m/s. Dust drifting snow is possible in some areas.
