Dry and Hot September: Weather Forecast for Uzbekistan
Uzhydromet has released its September 2026 weather forecast, predicting a relatively dry and moderately warm month for Uzbekistan. Average temperatures are expected to be within the climatic norm.
The first ten days of September are forecast to be mostly partly cloudy and dry. Nighttime and early morning temperatures will range from 15 to 20 degrees Celsius. Daytime temperatures will reach 30 to 35 degrees Celsius, with highs reaching 37 degrees Celsius on some days. In the south of the country, temperatures can reach 38 to 40 degrees Celsius on the hottest days.
More stable temperatures are expected in the second and third ten days of the month: 10 to 15 degrees Celsius at night and 25 to 30 degrees Celsius during the day. However, short-term fluctuations in temperature, both upward and downward, are possible.
Slight rainfall is possible on some days of the month, lasting approximately 1 to 3 days. In the south of the country, the likelihood of precipitation in September is extremely low.
Monthly precipitation is expected to be below normal across most of the country. In some areas of the Fergana Valley, it will be close to normal, while in Karakalpakstan and the Khorezm region, it will be above or near normal.
