Hot weather expected in Uzbekistan: forecast for August 7

On Friday, August 7, hot and dry weather will prevail across much of Uzbekistan. Forecasters predict light, partly cloudy skies with no precipitation across the country.

In the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the Khorezm region, overnight temperatures will range from 20 to 25 degrees Celsius, with daytime temperatures rising to 33 to 38 degrees Celsius.

Residents of the Bukhara and Navoi regions can expect overnight temperatures of 20 to 25 degrees Celsius, with daytime temperatures reaching 34 to 39 degrees Celsius.

In the Tashkent, Jizzakh, Samarkand, and Syrdarya regions, overnight temperatures will reach 20 to 25 degrees Celsius, with daytime temperatures reaching 33 to 38 degrees Celsius.

In the Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions, overnight temperatures will range from 20 to 25 degrees Celsius, with daytime temperatures reaching 35 to 40 degrees Celsius.

In the Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana regions, overnight temperatures of 18–23°C and daytime highs of 33–38°C are expected.

In the foothills and mountainous regions of the republic, short-term rain and thunderstorms are possible in some areas. Overnight temperatures will be 13–18°C, and daytime highs of 22–27°C.

Eastern winds will blow across the republic at 5–12 m/s.
