Asian Games: Uzbek wrestlers win 2 more gold medals

At the Asian Games being held in Japan, 2 more gold medals were added to Uzbekistan's tally. Wrestlers Pokizaxon Kamoliddinova and Axror Ziyodullayev became Asian champions in their weight categories. The number of gold medals in Uzbekistan's tally has reached 12.

Asian Games: Uzbek wrestlers win 2 more gold medals

At the ongoing Asian Games in Japan, two Uzbek wrestlers — Pokizaxon Kamoliddinova and Axror Ziyodullayev — became gold medalists.

Pokizaxon Kamoliddinova defeated Sumin Mo from South Korea in the final match to win the Asian Games championship.

Meanwhile, Axror Ziyodullayev competed in the -81 kg weight category and defeated Ramin Ahmadzoda of Iran in the final.

With this, the number of gold medals of the Uzbekistan delegation has reached 12. The team currently ranks 4th with 12 gold, 17 silver, and 12 bronze medals.
