At the Asian Games, Sita Kadamboeva won the gold medal in the -52 kg weight category in judo. Meanwhile, Aytjan Khalmakhanov became the champion in the -67 kg weight category in Greco-Roman wrestling. Thus, the number of gold medals in the delegation of Uzbekistan reached 16.

Two more gold medals have been added to the tally of the Uzbekistan delegation at the ongoing Asian Games in Japan.
In particular, Sita Kadamboeva, who competed in the -52 kg weight category in judo, became the champion of the Asian Games. The Uzbek athlete defeated the representative of South Korea in the final match.
Aytjan Khalmakhanov, a member of the Uzbekistan national Greco-Roman wrestling team, also joined the ranks of the competition champions. He defeated his Japanese opponent in the final of the -67 kg weight category to win the gold medal.
Thus, the number of gold medals in the tally of the Uzbekistan delegation has reached 16.
