Artist Shukurullo Isroilov appointed Deputy Minister of Culture

Renowned Uzbek artist Shukurullo Israilov has taken the post of Deputy Minister of Culture under Ozodbek Nazarbekov. Israilov's administrator confirmed this information in an interview with Daryo.
Shukurullo Israilov was born on January 14, 1970, in Tashkent. As a child, he learned to play the rubab at a music school.
Israilov subsequently studied at the theater department of the Tashkent State Institute of Culture and Art, as well as at the international department of the Institute of Oriental Studies.
His artistic career began in 1982. For many years, he was a leading member of the Mirzo Comedy Theater.
