Renowned Uzbek actor, director, and educator Abdumannon Ubaydullayev has died at the age of 86. He was widely known for his role in the film "Vatan."
Actor, director and teacher Abdumannon Ubaydullayev passed away at the age of 86. The Union of Cinematographers of Uzbekistan reported this.
A well-known Uzbek film actor, director and teacher Abdumannon Ubaydullayev has died.
Ubaydullayev became famous for his role in Zulfiqar Musokov's film "Vatan" in 2006. At the time of filming, the actor was 66 years old.
Later, he played roles in the films "Omad", "Songgi lahza", "Aldangan ruh", "Kulba", as well as in a number of television series.
Before starting his acting career, Abdumannon Ubaydullayev worked as a director on children's radio, then at the Kashkadarya regional theater. Later, he produced the radio magazine "Tabassum".
He is a candidate of arts, a distinguished worker in the field of youth work, and taught at the Department of Sound Direction and Cinematography at the Uzbekistan State Institute of Arts and Culture.
In an interview with Kun in 2023, Abdumannon Ubaydullayev said: "If you have such hard-earned knowledge, someone should take it from you."
He also said that he chose the profession of director when he entered the Institute of Culture. In his opinion, it is the director who controls the work of actors.
