Apple has unveiled a new MacBook Pro model featuring a full touchscreen OLED display. The device is equipped with M5 Pro, M5 Max, and next-generation M6 chips.

The laptop will be released in two sizes — 14-inch and 16-inch diagonal variants.
The device's body has become even thinner, and its weight is 1.3 kg. The Dynamic Island has replaced the usual black notch at the top of the screen. In addition, the glowing apple logo has returned to the back panel. For the past few years, Apple had been producing MacBooks with a simple engraved logo. Buyers will be offered two colors — silver and black.
Sales will start on November 6. Pre-orders can be placed starting today. The 14-inch version starts at $2.9 thousand, while the 16-inch version starts at $3.4 thousand.
The MacBook Pro touchscreen does not replace the traditional control system: the keyboard and touchpad remain in place, supplemented by touch input and gesture controls well known to iPhone and iPad users. Thus, this is not about turning the laptop into a tablet, but rather about expanding the ways to work with macOS.
