Catching service employees in Nurafshon claimed they are being ordered to kill animals. Video

A video has spread on social media in which catching service employees in Nurafshon claim that they were allegedly instructed not to take captured animals to a shelter, but to kill them. There is no official confirmation of these words yet.

According to the employees in the video, such an order allegedly comes from the city administration. They also claim that those who are not ready to carry it out are being told to resign.

Activists are asking the Nurafshon authorities to explain whether such an order exists, who could have given it, and how captured animals that are actually delivered to the shelter are accounted for. They also called for establishing whether animals were killed before delivery and what number of animals could be involved.

, that after reports of animal cruelty towards dogs on the territory of "Yunusabad City", the Tashkent authorities intervened in the situation. About 20 animals were then transferred to the "Hayot" shelter.
