Andijan customs officers found 20 thousand undeclared dollars in a truck

Andijan customs officers discovered 20 thousand dollars not declared in the declaration in a truck

At the "Khanabad" border customs post in the Andijan region, during an inspection of a vehicle traveling to a neighboring country, 20 thousand dollars in cash were identified that had not been presented for customs control. The driver also failed to indicate the presence of this amount during an oral inquiry.

This was reported on October 24 by the State Customs Service of Uzbekistan. The undeclared currency was discovered during a customs inspection of the vehicle.

An investigation into the matter is currently underway. Other details of the incident have not been disclosed.

Earlier, at another border customs post in the Andijan region, 34 thousand dollars were found on a truck driver heading to Kyrgyzstan, which he had not declared. The cash was discovered in the man's handbag and clothing pockets.
