An Uzbek citizen who fell into a difficult situation in Dubai was assisted in returning to their homeland

An Uzbek citizen who went to Dubai, UAE, in search of work and faced severe financial difficulties has been assisted in returning to his homeland. "Dunyo" reported on this.

According to the information, citizen U.R. traveled to the UAE with the aim of finding a job. However, he did not contact the Migration Agency of Uzbekistan before going abroad and began searching for a job independently after arriving in Dubai.

Due to his inability to find a suitable job, he faced financial problems. As a result, he had no funds left for accommodation and food, nor did he have the opportunity to purchase an air ticket to return to Uzbekistan.

Diplomats from the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Dubai held a conversation with the citizen and assessed his situation. He was provided with temporary accommodation and food, and necessary practical assistance was also rendered for his return to the homeland.

In this regard, citizens planning to work abroad are advised to contact the Migration Agency before their trip. Through the agency, it is possible to obtain assistance in finding official and safe employment abroad, receiving information about vacancies, contacting employers, and processing the necessary documents.

The Consulate General continues to provide consular-legal and practical assistance within the framework of the law to citizens of Uzbekistan who find themselves in difficult situations abroad.

The citizen and her children did not have documents proving their identity and granting the right to leave the country. For this reason, the woman had been held in a temporary detention facility for foreign citizens, and her children in the "Tranzit" children's social shelter.
