An Iranian Boeing 737 aircraft faced an emergency situation as soon as it took off: a wheel of the plane's landing gear detached.

The incident occurred on a Sepehran Airlines flight. The plane was heading from Mashhad to Kermanshah.

After the wheel detached, problems arose in the engine. Strong shaking began in the plane's cabin, the overhead bins above the seats were damaged, and as a result, the items inside them fell onto the passengers.

For this reason, the plane decided to return to the airport and successfully landed in Mashhad — none of the passengers were injured.

Thus, Sepehran Airlines has experienced its second aviation incident in Mashhad recently. At the end of August, another of the company's flights skidded off the runway during landing. No one was injured then either.

Earlier, eight people died as a result of a charter plane crash in the US state of Alaska.
