Ryanair broken window may have been caused by 'foreign object'

A Ryanair flight incident, during which a passenger was partially pulled from a plane window, may have stemmed from "foreign object damage" to an engine, according to the airline's chief executive.
Michael O'Leary stated that preliminary findings from the investigation into the July 10 occurrence, which took place on a route between Greece and Germany, suggest "it looks like a foreign object damage to the engine on takeoff at Thessaloniki but ... we can't say that definitively." He emphasized that the engine of the 18-year-old Boeing 737 aircraft had undergone full servicing and an overhaul within the past two years
