An engineer suspected of extortion was detained in the Fergana region

An electricity grid enterprise engineer was detained in the Fergana region.

An operational event was conducted in cooperation with the Qoshtepa district department of the Department under the General Prosecutor's Office and other law enforcement agencies. During the event, D.T., an engineer of the Qoshtepa district electricity grid enterprise, was caught with physical evidence while receiving 3 million soums in exchange for destroying a report drawn up regarding citizen S.Q.'s greenhouse in the "Xumdon" neighborhood being connected to the public electricity grid bypassing the meter.

In connection with this situation, a criminal case has been initiated under Articles 25 and 168 (fraud) of the Criminal Code, and investigative actions are underway.
