An attempt was made to send drugs from Germany to Tashkent

In the Yashnabad district of Tashkent, officers of the State Security Service and the Customs Committee thwarted an attempt to smuggle drugs. The operational and preventive measures were carried out as part of the "Safe and Healthy Country" program.

A citizen of Montenegro, born in 2001 and temporarily residing in the Yashnabad district, was detained at one of the district's post offices while receiving a shipment from Germany. The interception and search were conducted in the presence of witnesses.

During the inspection of the package in accordance with established procedures, officers discovered 3 kg of the narcotic substance "clephedrone" and 1 kg of hashish inside sports equipment. The seized substances were documented as physical evidence.

Following this, operational activities continued at the temporary residence of the detainee. During the search of the premises, 11 prepared drug stashes containing the narcotic substance "Alpha-PVP" with a total weight of 30 grams were discovered.

In addition, officers found zip-lock bags, electronic scales, and other items.

A criminal case has been initiated against the citizen of Montenegro. Investigative actions are currently underway.
