Almost 230 km of water supply networks have been commissioned in Uzbekistan.
In January–June 2026, 229.7 km of water supply networks were commissioned in Uzbekistan, almost 90% of which were in rural areas.

In Uzbekistan, nearly 230 km of new water supply networks were installed in the first six months of 2026. According to the National Statistics Committee, the total length of networks commissioned was 229.7 km.
A significant portion of this work—205.9 km, or 89.6% of the total—was completed in rural areas.
Samarkand Region led the way in terms of the length of new water supply networks, with 94.6 km commissioned.
Jizzakh Region followed with 70.2 km and Fergana Region with 42.9 km.
In the Republic of Karakalpakstan, 22 km of water supply networks were commissioned.
Thus, all 229.7 km of water supply networks commissioned in the country in the first half of the year were in these four regions.
