On the next day of the XX Asian Games continuing in Japan, representatives of the Uzbekistan delegation took places among the winners in several disciplines of rowing, canoeing, and kayaking.

In the women's canoe single (200 meters) competition, Shohsanam Sherzodova left all her opponents behind and presented the delegation with its second gold medal.

Also, in the men's 500-meter race in the same discipline, the pair of Artur Guliyev and Vladlen Denisov took second place and won the silver medal.

In rowing, 3 silver medals were won. In the men's M1x single program, Shahboz Xolmurzayev crossed the finish line second and received a silver medal.

In the M2x double sculls, the tandem of Mehroj Mamatqulov and Pavel Sorin took second place with a result of 6:10.49.

Also, in the final of the women's W4- program, the four consisting of Anna Aksenova, Mariya Sergeyeva, Rayhona Sattorova, and Aydana Smetullayeva also won a silver medal.

In the men's M2- rowing program, the duo of Maksim Golubev and Alisher Turdiyev took third place with a result of 6:32.34.

In the women's kayak double 500-meter race, the pair of Arina Tanatmisheva and Yekaterina Shubina won the bronze medal.

The number of medals won by Uzbekistani athletes at the Asian Games has reached 17: 2 gold, 8 silver, and 7 bronze. In the overall medal standings, our delegation is in 9th place.
