On the next day of the XX Asian Games continuing in Japan, representatives of the Uzbekistan delegation secured podium finishes in several events of the rowing competitions.

In the women's W2- pair event, our compatriots Aydana Smetullayeva and Anna Aksyonova crossed the finish line second, earning a silver medal.

Also, in the men's M4- rowing event, the quartet consisting of Dilshod Khudoyberdiyev, Fazliddin Karimov, Alisher Turdiyev, and Maksim Golubev won the silver medal.

In addition, the quartet of Davrjon Davronov, Shakhboz Kholmurzayev, Mehrojbek Mamatqulov, and Pavel Sorin, who participated in the M4x event, claimed the bronze medal.

The number of medals won by Uzbekistani athletes at the Asian Games has reached 23: 4 gold, 11 silver, and 8 bronze. Uzbekistan currently ranks 7th in the overall medal standings.
