A total of 70 kg of narcotic plants were destroyed during raids conducted across Uzbekistan
As part of the second phase of the "Qoradori-2026" comprehensive operational-preventive event, controlled flights using helicopters were carried out in all regions of the republic. During the events, a total of 70 kg of narcotic plants cultivated in households were destroyed in accordance with the established procedure.
During operational events conducted by employees of the Operational Search Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and its regional divisions, 24 kg of marijuana were found stored in the household of a citizen born in 1967 in the Oltinkol district of the Andijan region. The substance was seized in accordance with procedural order, and a criminal case was initiated regarding the situation under Article 273, Part Six, Paragraph "a" of the Criminal Code.
In another case in the same district, it was discovered that a farm manager had planted and cultivated 520 cannabis plants on a land area of 200 square meters. A criminal case was initiated regarding this situation under Article 270, Part Two, Paragraph "v" of the Criminal Code.
In the Izboskan district of the Andijan region, 6 kg 100 grams of marijuana were found in the residence of a citizen born in 1977. A criminal case was also initiated against him under Article 273, Part Six, Paragraph "a" of the Criminal Code.
Operational events were also continued in the Samarkand region. In the Samarkand district, it was discovered that a person born in 1981 was cultivating 41 cannabis plants in his backyard, and also storing 400 grams of marijuana. A criminal case was initiated regarding the situation under Article 270, Part One of the Criminal Code.
During controlled flights conducted in the Bukhara region, it was discovered that a married couple was cultivating 46 cannabis plants in the backyard of a house in the Bukhara district. In another case, it was found that 53 cannabis plants were being cultivated on a land area of 42 square meters. Criminal cases were initiated against the citizens regarding these situations under Article 273, Part Six, Paragraph "a" of the Criminal Code.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding the situation under Article 273, Part 6, Paragraph "a" of the Criminal Code, and preliminary investigation actions are being carried out.
