A single register of sports organizations and facilities will be maintained in Uzbekistan

Government Resolution No. 561 established the procedure for forming and maintaining registers of non-governmental physical training and sports organizations, as well as sports facilities in Uzbekistan.

According to the resolution, the register of non-governmental sports organizations is maintained through a special information system. Information about the organizations included in it will be published openly.

Applications submitted by non-governmental sports organizations for inclusion in the register will be reviewed within five working days.

If the submitted information is complete, the organization is entered into the register by a decision of the competent authority. If deficiencies are identified in the documents, a decision to reject will be made within three working days.

A sports organization may be removed from the register in the following cases:

The resolution also established that a separate register of sports facilities will be maintained.

The owner of the facility or its balance sheet holder submits an application through the information system. The application will be reviewed within five working days.

A sports facility will be removed from the register if it is reclassified to another type of activity, deemed unfit for use, or based on the owner's application.

One of the most important changes is that holding official sports competitions in sports facilities not included in the register is not allowed.

Also, in accordance with the procedure established in the resolution, athletes of sports organizations are envisaged to be granted the right to participate in official competitions.

This procedure is aimed at ensuring the transparency of the activities of sports organizations, keeping records of sports facilities, and improving the system of organizing official competitions.
