A new direct flight will connect Fergana and Kazan

It will now be possible to travel from Tatarstan to the Fergana Valley without layovers. Starting November 25, Nordwind Airlines is launching direct flights between Kazan and Fergana. Flights will operate once a week, with a travel time of about three and a half hours.

The launch of this route was the result of negotiations between Uzbekistan Airports and Nordwind Airlines, including at the NETWORK 2026 aviation forum in Moscow. The meetings discussed expanding the route network and launching new flights to regional airports in Uzbekistan.

Flights are scheduled for Wednesdays on Airbus A321 aircraft. The new route will facilitate travel for those visiting relatives, traveling, or going on business trips.

Fergana will become the fourth city in the country served by Nordwind from Kazan. In the summer of 2026, the carrier had already launched flights to Tashkent, Samarkand, and Namangan.
