A malfunction occurred at the "Shahriston" station of the Tashkent Metro. On the morning of October 7, a train stopped due to a technical failure.

"On October 7, 2026, at 08:22, at the 'Shahriston' metro station, a technical malfunction was recorded in train No. 69, which belongs to the old rolling stock manufactured in 1985. The malfunction lasted for 6 minutes," the metro administration said in a statement.
