A logistics center will be created in Namangan with Chinese participation.

In the Chust district of the Namangan region, the Chinese Qingdao Wanlin Group plans to create a logistics center on the territory of the Namangan Free Economic Zone.

A logistics center will be established in the Namangan region with the participation of the Chinese company Qingdao Wanlin Group.

A modern logistics center is planned for construction in the Chust district of the Namangan region, according to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

For the project, the investor has been allocated a 3-hectare plot of land in the Namangan Free Economic Zone.

On August 12, representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture met with Li Yantao, CEO of Qingdao Wanlin Group, and visited the Chust district.

The proposed site is provided with all necessary infrastructure, including rail service. The logistics center is expected to integrate various stages of agricultural production, such as storage and sorting of agricultural products, laboratory testing, and preparation of goods for sale in domestic and international markets.

During the visit, the Chinese investor was also presented with reserve land plots in the district, which can be used to increase agricultural production.

The Uzbek side briefed company representatives on the region's agricultural potential, existing infrastructure, and incentives and preferences for foreign investors.

Li Yantao stated that the company will review the information received, then develop a feasibility study for the project and prepare preliminary design and estimate documentation to begin its implementation.

The project is expected to contribute to the development of the agricultural value chain in the Namangan region, expand storage and preparation capabilities for export, and create modern laboratory infrastructure.
