In Syrdarya region, a drug laboratory was liquidated. Video

In Gulistan, employees of the State Security Service and the regional department of internal affairs discovered a drug laboratory where three local residents processed and prepared potent substances for sale.

According to the SSS, three local residents aged 21 to 23 organized the laboratory in an apartment of a multi-story building. During a search conducted in the presence of attesting witnesses, 5.863 kilograms of pregabalin were seized, as well as 100 thousand empty capsules, electronic scales, medical gloves, and other items.

A criminal case has been initiated regarding this fact under the article on illicit drug trafficking. The suspects have been taken into custody. The investigation is ongoing.

Earlier in Tashkent, two men were detained after receiving a package from China containing almost 25 kilograms of pregabalin. The potent substance was revealed during an inspection of the shipment at the office of a courier company.
