A digital "Fisherman's Card" will be created in Uzbekistan

Uzbekistan plans to launch a digital system called Fisherman ID ("Fisherman's Card"), which will combine key services for recreational fishing on a single platform. Through it, users will be able to obtain fishing permits, pay for them, reserve spots, and receive QR passes.

The National Committee for Ecology and Climate Change has already begun accepting commercial proposals from potential developers of the system.

According to the project requirements, it is necessary to create an open portal and an electronic registry of fishing zones, a personal user account, a system for issuing and paying for fishing permits, as well as a service for booking and issuing QR passes.

In addition, Fisherman ID will feature a marketplace, a mobile application, and integration with the payment services Payme, Click, and other necessary platforms.

The creation of the system is stipulated by a presidential decree on the development of the fisheries sector. Fisherman ID must include a unified electronic registry of recreational fishing enthusiasts and a discounted annual subscription. Funds from the subscriptions are planned to be directed toward cleaning water bodies and stocking natural water resources with fish.
