A deputy minister position has become vacant at the Ministry of Transport

The position of Deputy Minister has become vacant at the Ministry of Transport.

The post of Deputy Minister of Transport, previously held by Jasurbek Choriev, currently remains vacant.

This is evidenced by the official list of vacancies of the Ministry of Transport as of today, September 9. Choriev's name is no longer listed among the leadership of the Ministry of Transport.

In May, Choriev was elected Secretary General of TRACECA, an international transport corridor program linking Europe, the Caucasus, and Asia. At the time of his election, the Ministry of Transport officially referred to him as the Deputy Minister of Transport of Uzbekistan. The decision was made on May 15 at the 18th meeting of the TRACECA Intergovernmental Commission in Astana.
