A 35-year-old citizen of Uzbekistan was killed in the Almaty region

A 35-year-old citizen of Uzbekistan died in the Almaty region. This was reported by the KTK TV channel.

The incident occurred in the village of Aktas, Almaty region. According to information, the citizen of Uzbekistan, who was engaged in selling tandoor bread, had a verbal argument with one of the customers. The argument quickly turned into a fight.

According to the results of the initial investigation, during the argument, the 56-year-old suspect stabbed the 35-year-old man in the chest twice with a knife. The victim died from his injuries.

The deceased had been working at this tandoor for five years. Local residents spoke positively of him and noted that he had never had any conflicts with anyone. It was also noted that on some occasions he distributed bread for free.

The Almaty region police department announced that a criminal case had been opened on the case of murder. According to police spokesman Yernar Saidildin, as a result of the operational-search activities, the 56-year-old suspect was identified, arrested and placed in a temporary detention center.

According to police, the suspect has now confessed to his guilt and given a statement. The investigation is ongoing.
