6,500 applicants from Karakalpakstan who "failed" the exam will be recommended for admission as students
Additional 6,500 admission parameters on a fee-paying contract basis have been approved for applicants from Karakalpakstan to state universities in the regions, broken down by undergraduate fields of study. The list will be formed from among those who graduated from general secondary, specialized secondary, and vocational education organizations in Karakalpakstan, scored 56.7 points or higher in the exam, but were not recommended for student enrollment.

Additional opportunities have been created for the youth of Karakalpakstan to enter higher education institutions. This was announced by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation.
According to the report, based on the relevant statement of the State Commission, the youth of Karakalpakstan received the following 2 additional opportunities for admission to higher education for the 2026/2027 academic year.
**Opportunity 1:**
On October 2–6, 2026, young people permanently residing in the Republic of Karakalpakstan who scored 68 points and above in the entrance exams and were recommended for admission to full-time education at state universities on a fee-paying contract basis will register for 500 target admission parameters.
Registration is carried out through the my.uzbmb.uz website. In this process, applicants will participate in the selection for the higher education organization and field of study to which they were recommended for admission.
Registered applicants will be recommended for the target admission parameters in strict accordance with the sequence of points scored based on the results of the entrance exams.
**Opportunity 2:**
In accordance with the appeal of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the Agency for Assessment of Knowledge and Skills approved an additional 6,500 admission parameters for state higher education organizations in the regions on a fee-paying contract basis, broken down by undergraduate fields of study.
In this case, the additional admission parameters on a basic fee-paying contract basis will be formed from among applicants who registered as candidates for undergraduate fields of study at state higher education organizations, graduated from general secondary, specialized secondary, and vocational education organizations in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, scored 56.7 points and above based on the results of the entrance exams, but were not recommended for admission.
The selection records will be delivered to the relevant higher education organizations for registration in accordance with the established procedure.
