3.2 trillion soums of resources will be made available to districts
A total of 3 trillion 200 billion soums will be allocated to district headquarters to reduce poverty and ensure employment of the population

Districts will be allocated 3.2 trillion soums in resources.
At a meeting chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, new measures were determined to expand the financial powers of district headquarters.
Now district headquarters will independently decide how much credit to give to whom, whether it will be provided in cash or non-cash form, whether to extend the repayment period, and whether to adjust the repayment schedule to the type of business. Issues related to inclusive financing will also be transferred to their authority.
Currently, there are 1 trillion 370 billion soums of resources for family entrepreneurship, and 450 billion soums for youth entrepreneurship.
In addition, the opportunity will be created to provide preferential financing for projects of needy people with a history of delays in credit based on an individual assessment.
240 billion soums from the Poverty Reduction Fund, 100 billion soums from the Employment Fund, and 760 billion soums from three "daftars" will also be allocated to the district headquarters. In addition, the balance of 300 billion soums from the Enterprise Company for compensations by the end of the year will also be allocated through the headquarters.
Thus, a total of 3 trillion 200 billion soums of resources will be allocated to the districts.
The meeting also announced the abandonment of the practice of determining the terms of loans, subsidies, and compensation by decrees and resolutions. Now the Ministry of Economy and the Central Bank will update the financing mechanisms quarterly, based on the potential of the regions.
Also, assistant khokims in 8,992 makhallas will be transferred to the "project-based" work system. Dedicated and proactive personnel will be reassigned, and unqualified employees will be replaced.
